  • Church Road Wine Museum

The museum is built inside concrete tanks that once held the winery’s supply of fortified wines. Access was provided by cutting holes through the 300mm thick walls. Internally the walls have been left unfinished and are still covered with sugar crystals from the fortified wine. Exhibits were installed that include mannequins by local sculptor, Owen Yeoman. Some of the wine making relics date back 3000 years.
